Solved it!
Hi All, Found the solution on the cacti forum. Credits go to lowfi, posting his procedure on Tue May 20, 2008 9:57 am under the "MacTrack 1.1 for Cacti 0.8.7" topic. 1. Log in as Admin 2. Utilities / User Management -> Admin 3. Under "Realm Permission", tick the following:...

No Mactrack features on console
Dear Community, I installed Mactrack 1.1 on Cacti 0.8.7e and Plugin Architecture 2.5. The tables have been successfully imported and I get the Mactrack-related configuration settings on the Device Tracking tab under Configuration/Settings. I've never seen Mactrack before and I don't know what to exp...

Monitoring Netgear GSM7224 Switches
Try upgrading the firmware from http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/GSM7224.asp You can also try to query the switch with a MIB browser. A free tool for Windows is Getif, available at http://www.snmp4tpc.com/getif.htm - thanks Garth K. Williams. If the MIB browser returns usef...

David, One more thing. In Windows, the counters referred to in my previous post will tell you how busy the CPU is as a percentage. It is an integer between 0 and 100, where 100 means the CPU runs flat out. No conversions or formulas needed, just graph the value as GAUGE. For a more thorough monitori...

Windows CPU usage
David, Probably the easiest way to do it is this: 1. On the Windows box, download and install SNMP Informant Standard from http://www.snmp-informant.com. This is a very good *free* SNMP agent. (btw, you must have SNMP installed first *before* you install the agent). You can use SNMP Informant Advanc...

No values on graph
Hi, This template is really nice and saves a lot of time. Thanks for it. The import went like a charm: no errors at all, right at the first attempt. The problem is that I don't get any readings: all values on the graph are still "nan" after I configured it 2-3 weeks ago. If running the scr...

Dear Ivl,
Don't worry about the link. Initially, for some reason it did not show up in my browser. It is showing now *after* I posted my previous question.
Thanks,
Zoltan

Dear Ivl,
Thanks for the suggestion. It may look silly but I can't find your signature and the link you mentioned.
Would you please post the link?
Thanks,
Zoltan

SNMP query of multiple OID's
Hi, Is it possible to query multiple dissimilar OID's and place them into the same RRD? In a situation where there are hundreds or thousands of devices with an average of 30-40 SNMP counters per host being monitored, I can see a real benefit: it is not easy to manage one RRD per counter per host. It...
