Re: Cisco SFP (with DOM) Optical value plugin v0.2.3 + 0.2.4
I have created a github repository for this template. I've stuck mostly to sodium's and toe_cutter's versions of the scripts but I notice there are a couple of patches later that may also be desired. https://github.com/netniV/cisco-sfp COOL! :D i'll watch it and star it :) You have the permis...

Re: [RELEASE] thold-0.4.4-43
that should work comparing the current value with the 'day avaerage' but IMHO bandwidth graphs (with nightly lows) tend to create false positives
you could tweak the false positives with the "Baseline Trigger Count"

I do not have access to those kind of switches and do not know (for sure) those switches expose DOM information the same way the original platform does...

Re: How to fix a dual Index problem
The explanation for the second part of the patch : sometimes there is text 'hidden' as octet string in OID's this can be translated back to usable fields + Executing SNMP walk for data @ '.1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.3.26.1.4.1.6.5' + Found OCTET STRING '10.103.101.45.53.47.48.47.55.46.49' decoded value: 'ge-5...

How to fix a dual Index issue using new oid_rewrite_pattern
Problems and solutions (Arris E6000, CableMac, Dual Index, octet OID string) this is a bit of a chubby post -- but for those having the same issues it fix a lot of problems :) -- I'm only the messenger here, this is the work of my brilliant college :) the patch supplied is against 0.88b (we have use...

Re: [aggregate plugin] maximum oddness...
@ EIPCT that is exactly may problem
and I'm looking for a way so I can see the maximum was (in your example) = 26 and that that value is not consolidated over a period of time.

Re: [aggregate plugin] maximum oddness...
...In case you assume that "omitting consolidation" would help, I must say (as I already did more than once), that at least the "graphical consolidation" will hit you right and square. So better ist to make your life WITH consolidation. R. so there is no way for me to see (in te...

Re: aggregate oddness
...Wait a second, you just said that Amax=50 and Bmax=60. Now, if you create a GPRINT to summarize both MAX from either variable, it'll be 50+60=100. Seems to me like it's correct. From the way I understand it, it'll take into account the MAX from each data source in the specificed same time range,...

suppose I have 2 datasources (in seperate rra's) let's say from 2 firewalls and I want to see the maximum number of sessions going through the cluster. Minute 05 10 15 20 25 A: 50 50 30 30 30 B: 30 30 30 60 30 sum: 80 80 60 90 60 the plugin calculates the summary (correct) and draws the correct line...

Re: [FIX] thold 0.4.3-2
the numbers are in the right ballpark (we are doing 30000 in 75 seconds) depends if all datasources checked are available, the reference point in the past is yet available (new graphs have a nan for a reference point of a day ago), the graph is still active, the poller is ready, you are running boos...

Re: [FIX] thold 0.4.3-2
Any suggestions to get a longer reference value? Is is possible to have a two week reference value? What values are you using? the reference values depend on the values you defined in (data sources -> rra) and there is no 1 good value: depends on your graphs (what you graph) and how steady the valu...
