cacti never used the server accounts as far as i know, at least not in the default install.
You define the admin user's password on the first connection to the website. Then you could add users with the servers accounts names or some authentication module...

I made new script & tempate because the first one is not realy mesure the time till the GET request is finished. the new script is based on nagios plugin check_http with the follow option so the time reflaced in the graph is the time taken for the page to load copy the scripts check_http & ...

my fault...

it is in fact showing milliseconds on the scale, and the indicated value is 150m. which means milli milli seconds.. :D a bit compicated but the graphs are correct.

Hello all, i searched but didn't come up with anything useful. after modifying the ping.pl script to take care of the icmp_seq vs icmp_req problem i found that ping.pl is correctly returning ping times lower than 1 ms for some LAN hosts liek the firewall, but cacti shows them multiplied by 1000. if ...

Hello all, i'm setting up a cacti server with mactrack and flowview. Problem is we are running ASA firewall whcih from what i get only export netflow v9. Has anybody had any success in converting v9 to v5? had a look at flowd but couldn't get it to run on Debian stable. Do i really need to duplicate...

[solved] - PA installation problem

Hello all,
trying to install from scratch a fresh cacti...

if i install cacti and it's patches first i get errors while patching fro the PA, if i install the PA first i have errors installing cacti official patches...

so which ones should i install?

Hello Howie, thanks for the answer, unfortunately these values on't seem to have anything to do with the values i see in the graph... Graph reports last as inbound 25.75 and out bound as 1.64 k while the rrdtool info gives as LAST values (which is the same as the last AVERAGE value) 1.7700447665e+04...

in your php.ini look for the Dynamic Extension section

and add

extension=mysql.so
extension=gd.so

This is how i did it on apache under linux (not sure but it should be the same on windows)

yes, i was thinking of something like that, having the output of a sh arp (which works), made by the linux machine, in some SNMP table.... not sure how to do it... is it possible?
