I checked the chmod/chown properties, they were the same as the v.c and v.f scripts.

on another note, I upgraded to the latest rrdtool and the graphs look very nice!

upgraded to v.g again today, this time keeping old data, but new graphs were not generated, basically the exact opposite problem as last time. I tried it a few times yesterday, and had 2 successful upgrades to v.f, but it is possible. I'll give it a shot again now (a new day) and see how it goes. I'll report back in a bit.

no, the rra folder was copied over,(just verified again) and I did the install/upgrade twice just to make sure I didn't miss anything and/or the tar.gz file was not corrupted in any way. The SQL changes all passed, the upgrade seemed to work as intended. I don't know what the cause of the missing hi...

I upgraded from v0.8.6c to v0.8.6g (with all pre-patched files) and all previous data was lost. I restored a backup and upgraded from 0.8.6c to 0.8.6f and all was fine. Then I tried to go from another fresh download and install of 0.8.6g (f to g) and again all past data was lost. restored backup aga...
