The only cronjobs should be poller.php and fastpoller.php (latter for CactiEZ) Poller.php in turn calls cactid (based on your Settings via the www page). Its cactid vs cmd.php, either initiated from poller.php You don't run cactid manually. After getting a good nights (or 3, the holiday weekend was...

I read over this thread (all 17 pages!), and didn't see an answer to the question I have: Does this work with the cactid poller, or do you have to run poller.php to have this work? I've converted our cacti install here to use cactid, but the cronjob that runs poller.php is still in place (if I comme...

I'm using the default: |host_description| - Traffic - |query_vsName| Graphs seem to build with whatever the name of the VIP is: edit: query_vsName seems to work fine from here... Maybe you could try reapplying suggested names. What cacti and tmm versions are you using? 9.4 seems to have alot of int...

Thanks for this excellent template. Other than fixing one HRULE, I've had no problems. I do have one question - On the VS connection rate (and other VS graphs), I'd like to see the name associated. I thought I could get this with a |query_vsName|, but that doesn't seem to work. I can title it by han...

Re: Graphing titles getting truncated
I have several volumes and some of them have the 1st 14 characters the same in their volume name, so when they are graphed it seems the |query_dfMountedOn| is getting truncated in the graphing title so you don't know which volume is which. Anyone else having this issue, and do you know how to solve...

Had a bit of a revelation, and tried modifying the regex you sent in the last message - looking at the SNMP cache, I knew it was close, so I tried this: <interface> <name>CSS Sub-Module CPU Info (Instantaneous)</name> <description>Get current CSS Sub-Module CPU usage</description> <index_order_type>...

Cisco CSS CPU template problem
I have a Cisco CSS I'm trying to graph, I figured I'd start simple by creating graphs for CPU on each of the submodules. I found the howto in lvm's sig (from snmptable to XML graphs), and it's helping, but I think I've missed something subtle: My XML file: <interface> <name>CSS Sub-Module CPU Info (...
