i've actually got the windows firewall right off. I'm really at a loss as to what else to look at
obviously it's 100% not a cacti issue (getif not getting response either)
just hoping someone has found a gotcha

cacti.sql comes with Cacti. I suggest you take a look in you cacti directory and/or redownload the cacti package.
