LOL omg... i looked everywhere.. spent 4 hours checking every section except for the profile permissions.. this didn't seem to carry over after a database update (not sure if it's something to look at for developers)

try changing to "discover" for both the config.php and the folder name.

There was an answer on this just recently in the forum.. You might want to search for topics in the last couple weeks for discovery issues, but it is a simple character that needs to be changed for the plugin-name

change your folder name to discovery as well as the plugin name. I'm pretty sure the documentation has "discover" as the name. That should get it going

the UPGRADE text in the <cactipath>/docs/ contains very easy to follow instructions on how to perform an upgrade on your installation of cacti.

It will also be contained in the extracted tarball for the version you are going to upgrade too.
