thanks, the first think that crossed my mind was i need to import a new table for the snmp cache, fortunately i still had another cacti sql in another pc, so i re-create the table, and voila it's working now.. thank you so much for your favor, i'll try that much more practical way if i face the same...

i just found that host_snmp_cache table in mysql has been damaged, maybe due to improper shut down of the server.
could someone help me out what fields does this table contain? along with their type and other properties.
