I solved the problem. It turns out my ss_get_by_ssh.php.cnf had a blank line at the end of it, and this was getting prepended to the output of ss_get_by_ssh.php, which in turn broke cmd.php's result parsing. I removed the blank line from the end of the .cnf file, and now everything is working as it ...

I discovered that it's not just JMX. Any percona ssh monitor appears to be doing the same thing. Just tried it with a memory monitor.
