Thanks TheWitness I have discovered the flaw in my CDEF which I am fixing now. To reply to cjennings_cr post there are a number of explanations on CDEFs on the net but it still took me a awhile to understand how they work. I was asked at work to produce a color coded graph for our ops guys so that they could report when utilisation was over a certain level, but we needed to check if it was inbound or outbound traffic. we ended up using a three colour system for 0-50%, 50%-75% and 75%-100% but in keeping with this post...
