Re: cacti,display the picture halfly

Would guess at an issue with the webserver timing out - how is the interface generally? quick? or quite slow?

Re: BGP Data Query, very easy to use

interestingly I'm getting no response for anything on the bgppeer oid - reading into a couple of cisco docs it looks like this may have been depreciated in the IOS version we're running which is odd - I'll do some more digging and see how to get this information http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/...

Re: BGP Data Query, very easy to use

Good to hear. I plan to get an IPv6 version going soon. We are starting the IPv6 process now so I am waiting on IP's. Sounds good - we're likely to complete our implementation mid year so great timing One query on the current snmp query - I get in/out updates but "nan" for number of prefi...

Re: BGP Data Query, very easy to use

Hi, Thanks for your work on this bkbristlin - I originally attempted graphing BGP in 2006 so nice to finally get this working on one of my cacti systems :) I did use your updated templates but hit a few issues, the graphs were not displaying and rrd files not created. I believe it was related to the...

excellent - I was getting confused with the instructions with ./configure e.t.c. and the source being in the zip file rather than the binary will explain it :)

I'll use the earlier version for now with 0.8.7c

Thanks

Hello, I'm aware of issues with the PFC cards in early 6500's with regards netflow - that is that only traffic entering or leaving the vlan will be accounted...not for traffic within that VLAN may also be the case for traffic on that vlan interface that you have an issue with - as in only packets de...

Hello, If you have a logical tunnel interface on the router then graph that as well as the physical interfaces - shows up in the interface poll as "Tu0, Tu1" e.t.c. That's the only way really - unless you start going into the Cisco mibs and query IPSEC decrypts e.t.c. Depends if you have a...

as above and also may be worth advising: What version of SNMP are you using? (v2/v3?) What is your downed host detection set to - SNMP? ICMP Ping UDP Ping? I assume the device is showing as up in Cacti device status? Does the equipment ever start graphing interface statistics again - or only as mcut...

looks like completely a windows issue, Ran the poller manually and it just sits there in a CMD window - in fact I can't even browse to the drive that apache e.t.c. is installed on - then when the server reacts the CMD just goes back to a prompt with no launch of the cactipoller windows - so I assume...

not that I can see (as far as priority goes) - though I am also running howies weathermap creation task every 12 minutes that also uses rrdtool (it was every 5 minutes but I had suspicions that it was clashing so increased it) I'm going to stop this task overnight and see if it solves the problem, T...
