By order, what do you mean?
Here's the debug from the data source. /usr/bin/rrdtool create \ /usr/share/cacti/site/rra/wilkesbarre_office_cmts_modems_total_489.rrd \ --step 300 \ DS:modems_total:GAUGE:600:0:500 \ DS:modems_registered:GAUGE:600:0:U \ RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:600 \ RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:6:700 \ RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:24:775 \ RRA:A...

Weird custom graph problem.
Hi, I'm writing some custom graphs for a CMTS and I need to monitor a bunch of items in the same graph. When I have one item in there being graphed it works fine as an area. However, when I add a LINE1 item or anything other than something related to my AREA item, my graphs stop working. The debug l...

New Installation Problem > cacti.sql
Hi, I just installed cacti on a fresh install of Debian 3.1. I can't seem to get past this part on the install. Error You have created a new database, but have not yet imported the 'cacti.sql' file. At the command line, execute the following to continue: mysql -u cactiuser -p cactidb < cacti.sql I t...

64 bit counters not working for in/out bits
Hi, I recently moved my CMTS from a 100Mbps feed to a GigE feed. Since then my bandwidth has moved above 100Mbps and it seems that the regular 32 bit counters are cycling too quick to record the bandwidth used properly. I attempted to run a 64 bit graph on the GigE feed to make sure that I would not...

Backing Up Cacti...
Hi,
I've asked this question before but didn't receive a completely clear answer. Does anyone have a formal procedure for backing up Cacti and it's associated DBs, RRDs, etc?
If not, does anyone know what exactly needs to be backed up in order to perform in case of a system crash?
Thanks.

The Best Way to backup Cacti Configs mySQL dbs?
Hi, I've been running cacti for about a month now and I finally have time to start thinking about backing up my configs, rras, db. Does anyone know exactly what I need to backup in case of a major system failure? I'm assuming I need to backup the RRAs, SQL DB and templates. Is there an easy way to d...

Thanks all.
I finally got this up and running.
It ended up being that I did not have the OID that I wanted graphed set to output. I changed it over and was able to graph pretty quickly.

Okay... One more thing.
Could it be the fact that I don't have what I want to graph set to input in my XML file?
Other than that, I'll get you the output from the log tomorrow since I don't have access to my server at this point in time.
Thanks in advance.

Getting absolutely nowhere with creating custom data queries
Hi all, I've been working on getting a single custom data query to work in Cacti for some time now(2 days) and I'm absolutely getting nowhere with it. My regular graphing works fine with regards to traffic, CPU and any other supplied data queries. However, I'm attempting to add a custom query that w...
