Re: Graphing multiple switch ports on a single graph.

Heh, it's resolved.

The graph does include the ifAlias value but the system truncates it to 15 chars. I've upped the limit to 30 in the settings and it works fine now. :)

Re: Graphing multiple switch ports on a single graph.

Thanks for the suggestion Gandalf. It seemed that a lot of the documentation relating to both Cacti and the plugin framework was aimed more towards people running under Linux. Whilst doing some digging I came across CactiEZ which seemed to have a lot of what I needed already built into it. This bein...

Graphing multiple switch ports on a single graph.

Hi, I'd like to start by saying how impressed I am with Cacti. I remember I looked at it a couple of years ago but for some reason I struggled to get it working and gave up. This time around i've persevered and i've now got some really interesting stats coming from a number of hosts on our network. ...

Re: Timeout error when calling ss_host_disk.php

Ooops, it was a case of PEBKAC. I had a number of tests which were failing but had only updated the poll interval on one of them - the 'bad' result I was seeing was for one of the remaining tests which i'd failed to update. Doh!! I've changed them all to 1000ms and now it works perfectly. Thanks for...

[solved] Timeout error when calling ss_host_disk.php

Hi there, I've got a slightly strange issue when monitoring disk usage on a number of our Proliant Servers. I've checked the configuration and it's really quite strange. In the log I see this error: 06/13/2011 10:05:10 AM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] WARNING: SNMP Get Timeout for Host:'xxxxxxxxxxxx', and OID...

Re: UPS Smart APC templates

Hi, I'm new to the world of Cacti and I have to say i've been really impressed with it's capabilities so far. I've managed to get all of the APC templates working with the exception of the one that monitors UPS Temperature. The data appears to be collected but when the rrdtool generates the graph it...

Re: Host Templates for HP LeftHand Storage System (P4500, DL

Hi, I'm very new to Cacti and i'm having a few issues getting the templates for the HP LeftHand SAN to work. I was hoping someone on here might be able to assist. Graphs are being generated but there's no data on the actual graph itself. Checking in the Cacti.log file I can see some entries like thi...
