I noticed that "current traffic" on 5min average graph is different from that of 30min traffic. Why? how does cacti process data collected?

I use cacti to monitor 130Gbps bandwidth. By adding up all link bandwidth value, we got total bandwidth inbound and outbound.

But, we noticed that the curve on summary graph does NOT conform to maximum value shown below it. Wh?

I want to get interface traffic data from rrd files updated by cacti. But, I don't know how to determine the rrd file name which stores data of special interface.

Is there a way to do it?

We want to monitor about 200 U*ix hosts by SNMP. The monitoring objects include CPU, Mem, Hard disk, swap etc.

yes. It counts summary of two interfaces. The third item which I defined before has the same data source as item2 while I turned graph type to "Line3". Turning on graph debugging, it shows cacti calculate the total bandwidth by adding the two data source statistics , but it seems data sour...

It seems something wrong with cacti's calculating. I modified the configuration by removing the LINE item (item3), the result seems to be correct.
