I've solved it.
It's being caused by the dreaded Windows profile unload problem (Windows Event ID 1517). The account that is running the poller is not unloading its profile properly anymore for some reason. When it does unload properly the SNMP counters do get read by Cacti properly.

SOLVED: SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions "Used" Issue
I've suddenly got this bloody annoying issue on one of my Windows hosts. Caveat: I've just upgraded to 0.8.7c but I have seen this briefly in earlier versions but it "went away". The "Used" value for the "C:" drive on one Windows 2003 server keeps graphing as 0 but it w...

BUG: 0.8.7c - View SNMP Cache Items
The "View SNMP Cache" list option for "Host: Any" doesn't return any results. Selecting an individual host works ok. If I mangle the URL as follows (remove ID from host_id) it sort of works: utilities.php?host_id=&snmp_query_id=-1&filter=&action=view_snmp_cache Also, ...

New Template - OpenBSD Spamd
I have built a new template to graph statistics for OpenBSD Spamd (Spam Deferral Daemon). The template produces output similar to the attached (the look and feel is based on RRDTool scripts written by Christopher Kruslicky). Like many others here, the core of this template is based on the script for...

Has anyone managed to get the totals working properly? I had a go at it, but I don't think it can be done because the math relies on knowing how many data points there are for Daily, Weekly etc. graphs. If I build a CDEF its' right for Daily graph but progressively too small for other graphs. Lookin...

Yeah I've read your guide - it's good. I've installed quite a few Cacti systems so I'm comfortable with what I'm doing. We just complicate things because we tighten NTFS permissions down so much which means we have to be meticulous during installs. Yes I used Filemon - gotta love the Sysinternals to...

NTFS Permissions Tip
We ran into a problem with the CPU and disk scripts not working on a Windows Cacti box and thought I'd share the solution. We normally install Cacti (and other applications) on a different partition to the system partition (say D:). We are also in the habit of changing the default NTFS permissions o...

I'm using Spine on Windows. If I check the cacti log, the command to run which includes the Perl script and username/password is actually correct. That is, if I just copy this line and run it on the command line it works perfectly and returns the correct data. My security colleagues have now actuall...

BUG (Possible): Custom Data Input Method
I have a number of templates that use a custom data input method that runs a Perl script that takes a number of input fields the contents of which vary for each target host. Long story short, two of the input fields are "username" and "password". What I'm finding is that password...
