For some reason the apcrackpdu.xml file did not get created.
I am using 8.6j.
Can you post the apcrackpdu.xml file?

Im about to get started on integrating CA Spectrum + Cacti + SysEdge. Spectrum for the Event correlation and mapping, Cacti for the Performance graphing and SysEdge on the hosts to open up all the stats via SNMP and forward log events.

use "Special Type Code"
Should be:
input string: sh /blahblah/script.sh <returnvalue> <hostname>
Then select "hostname" in Input Fields and type hostname under "Special Type Code" section.
