Re: NaN graphs and missing poller items from cache
I've tried everything I can think of to "re-save" them. I've disabled and re-enabled the hosts, changed settings in the individual graph pages and changed them back again. I've been trying to find how the poller cache is populated, but I'm not a coder and can't really figure it out from th...

Re: NaN graphs and missing poller items from cache
I'm not concerned about the missing data at this point. I just want Cacti to actually start polling the devices, as I believe I fixed the issues with the rrd files. Rebuilding the poller cache doesn't seem to work. I am able to create new graphs on the same hosts and they get added into the cache, b...

NaN graphs and missing poller items from cache
I am having trouble finding the source of a problem with some graphs not updating and showing NaN. I have probably 40 devices in Cacti and the three devices having issues are different from the rest in that that they use a different data profile. I am on 1.1.38 and spine. I've gone through all the t...

Re: Cannot get SNMP query to work
Thanks for the suggestion. I edited the original post with what I found to work. My issues with this were: 1. The documentation for 1.x is just...not good. There's actually better documentation for building a custom SNMP query file for the 0.8.7 release at https://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:3a_advanc...

Re: Cannot get SNMP query to work
I've updated my query file to correct some possible errors I found, but still no luck: <interface> <name>Get OptiDriver port list for optical diagnostics</name> <oid_index>.1.3.6.1.4.1.629.200.8.1.1</oid_index> <oid_index_parse>OID/REGEXP:^.{29}(.*)</oid_index_parse> <index_order>nbsCmmcPortIndex</o...

Cannot get SNMP query to work
I have had it, I've been trying to get this query working for two days now. I have tried dozens of permutations of the XML file and simply cannot figure this out. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. I have read the docs on SNMP data queries no less than 25 times, so clearly something is not sinkin...

Adding graph with no host
Hi all, I'm a somewhat new user to version 1.1.38, after being on 0.8.8f for a reeeeeal long time. I cannot find a way to create a graph without a host or template, where I can add arbitrary data sources to it. Has this functionality been removed? Specifically, I am looking for the highlighted optio...

Re: Juniper MX960 host template
I'm having a similar problem after migrating Cacti to a new server. The script cannot poll my routers and for some reason, it keeps trying to use SNMPv1, according to the output: SNMP Error: no response received SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "xx.xx.xx.xxxxxx.xx" [192.168.1.65].161) I can qu...

I am getting the following error on the SAA Jitter Dispersion graph: ERROR: invalid rpn expression 'a,c,/,b,c,/,b,c,/,*,-,SQRT' I've checked the CDEFs and I do see this defined. Unfortunately, even after reading several posts on the forums about this type of error, I am at a loss as to what to do ne...
