Re: IPMI sensors -- update June 21, 2009

You should be able to modify global_arrays.php and add the 1.2.23 version hash and the you should be able to install it. Thanks Osiris, I tried this but doesn't work. Same error! But I get the Data Template (DEF Line) from original IPMI Sensors in the Graph, don't ask me how I get this in, but now ...

Re: IPMI sensors -- update June 21, 2009

Attached you can find the updated Net-SNMP Device package for Cacti 1.2.23. I'm not sure it'll install before then, but you can try. Thank you, but I get a import error in 1.2.21 IMPORT parse_xml_hash ERROR wrong hash format for hash: info You would always update to the 1.2.x branch and it should i...

Re: IPMI sensors -- update June 21, 2009

thanks for your answer TheWitness!
I'm not that experienced with Data Templates and Graph Templates in cacti. So I'm not able to fix this on my own
hope somebody found some time someday to fix this.

Re: IPMI sensors -- update June 21, 2009

I know, this thread is rather old, but I didn't find a actual version of implementation of IPMI Tool environment paramters in cacti. My cacti version is 1.2.21 and I tried to install this Script. My Problem seems to be the Graph Template, got still this error: RRDtool Command: /bin/rrdtool graph - \...

Re: Possible Solution

for some weird reason the poller still doesn't seem to create the rrd files... in the log i do get data output from the poller... I'm also running this with plesk on the server... any ideas why the rrd files aren't created by the poller.php (cacti user has proper access)? my workaround would be to ...

Monitoring 4PSA CleanServer and SpamGuardian on Linux/Plesk

Hi all, today I wrote some code to monitor a Linux machine under Plesk with 4PSA CleanServer and 4PSA SpamGuardian installed. These programs have their own statistics but I want to monitor these values in my cacti installation. Tested on SuSE 10 with Plesk 8.0.1 cacti Version 0.8.6i 4PSA CleanServer...

thanks for this script!
works fine for me.

Just a hint:
the snmp community name is harcoded in the file queuecheck.pl and also not standard "public"
after changing this the script works fine for server localhost.

It would be very nice to have smartmontools under Linux also working with cacti. Does somebody work on that and also want to share?

It doesn't matter which template. All Templates get the same error. I tried you new templates and while adding the vBulletin users template to the graph management I get this error: ERROR: can't parse '#9FA4EE:Registered' I'm a beginner with cacti so I can't fix the problem on my own at the moment ;)
