Re: Cisco NBAR just one way traffic
What does it say from the router?
Do you see inbound and outbound stats if you do a "show ip nbar protocol-discovery" fromt he cli?

Re: Monitor Traffic
It all depends on where you want to monitor such traffic. If you have Cisco network equipment, search these forums for NBAR and CFlow.

Re: SendMail MailQueue
Would love to be able to monitor this, have just implemented ProofPoint - a sendmail based solution, and would like to be able to log amount of Spam stopped/Viri, etc... (I know that it can respond to SNMP requests...) Regards Argon0 You might be able to utilize Mailgraph http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~...

Re: Monitoring Folder Size On Win3k...
I need to find a way to monitor the size (space usage) of particular folders on remote Win3k servers. Has anyone done this, or know of anyway to do this via SNMP or WMI? I have googled it to death and have found nothing. Any Ideas?! -Dan I didn't know there was a Win3k...j.k. Have you tried making ...

Re: Cool & Download issues?
Very nice drose12... I'm looking for this exact method to monitor my units. :D Are there issues with downloads from this forum? Over the past few days, when I click any of the file dowloads, they fail (I only get the download.php file). My guess is you are using Firefox to view this forum. For what...

What is it you are trying to monitor? In my experience it would be rare for an ISP to give you SNMP polling to something they are managing. Of course if you own the equipment, that is another story. There may be other solutions to gathering information (sniffers, spanning ports, etc) but without und...

Re: Cisco 2950 still CPU usage
I don't have any 2950's so I'm not sure if this will work (but it does with other Cisco switches): What does the switch show if you issue a "show proc CPU" from the enable mode? The Top line should have CPU utilization for five seconds, 1 minute and 5 minutes. If they always show 15% you h...

I did some searching on Google and found some hits for 1200's that indicated the OIDs changed with different versions of IOS. Here is a thread that appears on topic for 1100's though I don't know if it too saw changes to the OID structure with different versions of IOS. http://tinyurl.com/5kok9 http...
