Issue with Make..

I beefed up on the instructions but I seem to be failing on the final steps to make the file for DEV on WINXP. $ make if gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I./config -I/usr/local/include/net-snmp -I/u sr/local/include/net-snmp/.. -I/usr/local/include/mysql -g -O2 -MT sql.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/sql.Tpo&...

FreRange - if you can wait until tomorrow, I will post a compiled version of CACTID and the Cygwin binaries for you. Oh sure thing! This was more of a learning question not a CACTI question. I don't want to be a mindless windows engineer anymore *grin* so on that note; Within Cygwin, are the mysql ...

Thank you sir. Until then, where in the heck do you find the mysql binaries that you quote in this thread? I'm a pure mindless windows tech so when I go to the mysql site looking for client libraries all I see are RPM packages and I'm not all that sure how to pull the RPM into cywin. Thanks again. I...

Re: CACTID Issues- HELP! [RESOLVED]

Any time frame on releasing this as a patch for windows? I'm having too many issues trying to learn how to compile *grin*. Ok - it's been a few days now, so I thought I would post an update: CACTID has been running FLAWLESSLY for ages now (thanks to TheWitness). I am now using the J version of the p...

Re: WMI Interface needs...

Yeah I figured it out. Big WMI mess. It's up and running now.

I have another question, what would be a good baseline number for these queries?

150+ servers
700+ Workstations
Exchange 2003
AD 2003

Thanks.

Re: WMI Interface needs...

My brain is a bit off today but; Is there anything other then WMI access to the server that is required for this perl script? I can't seen to get any data from the query... Thanks. You need to have the NSClient running on the Windows servers as well. As far as I can see, Diggit2001 scripts require ...

Nope... Cisco 2610 or a Bay ARN. This only seems to be happening on my routers, servers graph just fine. Very odd.

Gaps in grahps for Incomming traffic

Hi, I'm having an issue with gapping in my graphs for incomming traffic on my routers out in the field. I'm not too sure where I should start looking for the issue to correct it and I need a little help from you all. Attached is a sample for the graphing issue that I'm having. Windows 2003 server w/...

Mind if I ask what the development timeframe is looking like? I was browsing the roadmap but I do not see any milestone on it.

Thanks
David.

Looking to split the poller

Hello all, Is there a way to split the poller into 2 processes... One that runs every min. for some devices and a 2nd that runs every 30mins for other devices? I only ask because I running cactid and my polling time is taking to long to graph 1min updates on my WAN connections plus all the other dat...
