cactid error - WARNING: Result from SCRIPT not valid.

New install of 0.8.6h cacti on RHEL 4. Compiled the 0.8.6g cactid wihout errors, currently in /usr/local/bin/cactid and cactid.conf. Changed the "Settings" "Poller" to cactid. I don't get any graphs. In the cacti.log I get the following errors: 10/16/2006 12:34:45 PM - CACTID: Po...

I added the mysql.so statement in the php.ini and tried it and no success. I restarted mysql, httpd still nothing, finally rebooted and after reboot it worked!! Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the replys. 1. I did create the mysql database, and I can login from the command line using the username and password 2. I verified the /include/config.php and it's good 3. I don't have a file called db-settings.php.. Should I? 4. /etc/php.ini - Where in this file should it specify mysql....

I have attached my log file.
I created a new rra/ directory
I created a new MySQL database
Still does not write any .rrd files. If I run the poller.php, that will write .rrd files so I deleted my old crontab and re-did that still nothing.

One of the first things I did was delete the log file because it was pretty big.

All the vesions of PHP etc are the same.

What are some reasons why the rrd files are not being created?

Last Friday my graphs just stopped collecting data. Many people have access to this box but everyone says they have not changed anything. So I need to debug this and fiure out what the deal is. I checked all the permissions because when I look at the files in the rra/ directory they all had the frid...
