Re: How to use WMI
Think the real question is, is there a template that can be imported so that I can "just do it"? Something like the Generic "Windows 2000/XP Host". Without an "easy" WMI setup... Cacti isn't worth the free version of Zenoss http://www.zenoss.com/ that does the basics ve...

Re: Graph WMI Volume
Hello, I need to graph a Disk Volume with WMI. I have used the template but I have modified it because a need to use WMI class "Win32_volume". Script : Input String => /usr/local/admin/php-5.2.9/bin/php -q <path_cacti>/scripts/wmi.php -h '<host>' -u '<credential>' -w '<class>' -n '<namesp...

Windows 2008R2 SNMP - Interface Statistics Accuracy
Running cacti-0.8.7g rrdtool-1.4.4 net-snmp-5.3.2 Cacti server is on 64bit Linux (Citrix) and I am polling Windows 2008R2 clients. Using the "Windows 2000/XP Host" Host Template and the "SNMP - Interface Statistics" Data Query my Bits/Bytes per second always seem low. Only peakin...

Re: Windows 2008R2 Drives in TB & PB don't graph correctly
When I try that CDEF I just get poo. Not sure if this is possible. Maybe have to resort to WMI or something. But would like to make this work.

Re: Windows 2008R2 Drives in TB & PB don't graph correctly
Was able to create "convert 32bit signed to unsigned" cdef=CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,0,GE,CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,4294967295,CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,+,IF Untitled.png But not sure how to implement the second you mention? "convert 32bit signed to unsigned, multiply by 1024" Build on the breviou...

Re: Windows 2008R2 Drives in TB & PB don't graph correctly
Does updating net-snmp on the Cacti server make any difference?
Thanks!

Re: Windows 2008R2 Drives in TB & PB don't graph correctly
So I could create CDEF's with: "convert 32bit signed to unsigned" cdef=CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,0,GE,CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,4294967295,CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,+,IF "convert 32bit signed to unsigned, multiply by 1024" Build on the brevious one, and multiply by 1024. (Not sure exactly how to i...

Re: Windows 2008R2 Drives in TB & PB don't graph correctly
I did notice this post Installation This is a pure SNMP based replacement of the standard cacti disk usage templates. It requires support by the non-standard HOST MIB, however. untar the attached resource file Drop hrStorageTable.xml into your <path_cacti>/resources/snmp_queries/ folder. Import the ...

Re: [solved] Windows Server 2008 Disk usage
Maybe someone is having trouble along these lines also with drives in the TB's and PB's?

Windows 2008R2 Drives in TB & PB don't graph correctly
Running cacti-0.8.7g rrdtool-1.4.4 net-snmp-5.3.2 Cacti server is on 64bit Linux (Citrix) and I am polling Windows 2008R2 clients. Using the "SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions" Data Query and all my drives that are in the TB's graph way low. Actually have some drives in the PB's. Has anyone de...

Re: Brocade Fibre Channel templates.
Have noticed that a CDEF with Words * 4 does not look accurate against a portpershow. But a Words * 8 appears to match. Does that make sense to anyone? A portperfshow is in MB. Checked in the MIB reference for OS 6 and it said that Words * 4 gives Bytes... but that does not seem to match the reality...

Re: Rx/Tx FC Word size
So this would give Words to Bytes. Would Words to Bits be Word * 8? or could state that in a CDEF as: item #1 : Special Data Source: CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE item #2 : Custom String: 8 item #3 : Operator: * Craig Hi all, After reading few RFC on FC protocol I found that the FC Word is a 4 character of 8 ...

Re: WWN connected to port as part of title
For cacti-0.8.7g does all this need to be done? I did add ifWWN to brocade_interfaces.xml, and am thinking it should "just work" if |query_ifWWN|is added to Graph Template Title and made new graph? I can snmpwalk the OID but not getting it in my title. hy, so some time later I have it runn...

Re: Only able to select 197 ports out of my 240
That worked, Thanks!
I just blew the old ones away, would have taken too long to create each. Just started monitoring and only lost a day on blowing them away.

Re: Only able to select 197 ports out of my 240
But now I would ask, how can I get those on my tree? It looks like they have been graphing all this time.
