Re: Speedtest graph/data template available
Just a heads up the speedtest-cli does not provide accurate upload speed results. I have installed it on three separate Ubuntu hosts and all of them give a slow upload result, usually slow by a factor of 10x. I wish there was a fix because this really is a cool tool. For example: $ speedtest-cli Ret...

Re: spine dies with Lost connection to MySQL server during q
Switched from mysql 5.5.39 to mariadb 5.5.39. All problems have been solved! This past week I had to upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04 LTS to 12.04LTS to keep things supportable. I too ran into major issues with MySQL 5.5. Thanks for the tip on installing MariaDB! Everyone should know the following goodnes...

Upgraded to 8.8c no graph tree (Solved)
Today I upgraded from 8.8a to 8.8c. Everything went well, graphs are updating and everything looks fine except for the fact that I cannot see my graph tree. When I click on the graph tree page I only see the page's header down to where it says "Graphs -> Tree Mode", after this point the pa...

Re: Update Autom8 to apply threshold templates
Same issue here, I applied the patch, activated the plugin, created a threshold rule but it will not trigger the creation of the thresholds. If you would like any information from my system I would be more than happy to supply it as I would love this feature to come to life!

Thank you for this, I have been having this exact problem. Last night 87 hosts went down and I got a rude awakening at 2am for devices that I do not support!

I have it working on 8.7g and 8.7i. I would suspect it would work fine with 8.7h.

Re: Thold host down re-alerting...
Thanks for that, but what about my original question, is there an ability to re-alert for down hosts? Currently this only seems to work for thresholds created against graphs.
Thanks again,

Thold host down re-alerting...
I currently have my default alerting option for 'Repeat Alert after specified number of poller cycles.' set to 96 polls. Does this apply to down host notifications? In other words, once a host is down an initial email will go out (3 polling cycles), then in another 96 polls will a re-trigger email g...

Re: Manage Plugin 0.6.2 for monitoring networks, servers...
Is there the ability for manage to re-alert after a given interval? I would like to see an 8 hour re-alert interval such that if the original email was missed a new one would get sent.

Re: Monitor Windows Service stats from Linux
I download igorx1972 source files and installed things as usual. However, I was getting the same result as gbaity. I spent some time today getting this script working on my Cacti 8.7g+spine deployment. What I found was there in the win_services.php file there seems to be an error. In the cacti log I...

Another suggestion I have is to let you modify the sql select statement directly. I think the editor is great to get folks started, however, I have a need for more complex rules that combine AND, OR and NOT statements.

Hi, First of all, great work! The reboot detection and alerting is a nice touch! I did have one issue, I notice that if I set `Enable mail alerts`to `Down and reboot events` that I still receive `UP` events. This is important for me as I like to send text alerts out to admins when things are going ...
