Re: Graphs stop showing and host drop down list is empty

Two for two this week on dumb problems. This issue was caused by "deny" permissions on the graphs for new users that I had created.

Graphs stop showing and host drop down list is empty

I have an issue where I've added a new host and some new interfaces to monitor on Cacti 0.8.7i. This installation was done fresh recently on CentOS 5 32 bit and was graphing data for a couple of hosts just fine. Now, only a broken icon link shows for any graph, and I notice that on the Graph Managem...

Re: Can't create graphs for in/out bits after 0.8.8 upgrade

Not sure what I did (I have indeed imported some new device templates recently), but I ended up downloading and re-importing the generic Generic SNMP Enabled Host template from the link below and that resolved my problem.

Can't create graphs for in/out bits after 0.8.8 upgrade

I upgraded from 0.8.7h to 0.8.8a and then later to 0.8.8b. All is well except that I am no longer able to create graphs of in/out bits on generic SNMP-enabled hosts. I am able to create other graphs OK such as in/out bytes. Error message after creation is "no Data Source associated. Check Templ...

Re: View Graphs not working

I am wondering what will happen if you make the change of: $url_path = "/"; so that both are set to have a slash - if I read the code correctly that is pointed out in the bug response, I think having something defined versus an empty string may make a difference. Of course, you'd have to u...

Re: View Graphs not working

lambchopper, I had the same issue with the icons on a very fresh install. Turns out in cacti/include/global.php, I had set $config['url_path'] (second one in the below example) but not $url_path (first one in the below example): /* set URL path */ if (! isset($url_path)) { $url_path = "/cacti/&...

A very basic Weathermap history

Hi folks - I have managed to create a very simple Weathermap history using a little PHP and Howie's other fancy plugin - SuperLinks. First, starting from Howie's page on creating animations of Weathermaps here: http://www.network-weathermap.com/content/animating-weathermaps I use a very similar scri...

Thanks. Problem is that I've been importing all kinds of device templates just to play around and try them out and at this point I have no idea what all has been "updated"! :o

OK, finally got aggregate to show up. My $plugins = array(), etc was in config.php, not global.php. I moved the list to global.php at the very bottom above the last line that sets the version of Cacti and then aggregate showed up. My guess is that this change is required for plugins using the newer ...

Oops I think this was user error. :) I had copied an example scale that started with 1-10 and eventually changed it to 0, but during that period the log was showing a clip of 0.xxx to 1. I now have a scale entry of 0-10 and it seems to be working just fine, including clipping negative percentages fr...

With a fresh install of Cacti, is it enough to export the host templates with dependencies in order to refresh my working install? Should that get all of the other templates in the dependencies? Thanks much.

Got the new 0.75, still can't get it to show up under Plugin Management. I have other plugins working OK (weathermap and superlinks).

Must the scale entry be 0-1 to cover a percent of 0.x? I have an entry of 0-20 for the bottom of the scale, yet still see the warning for data between 0 and 1.
