check if its the snmp graphs that have stopped or the script server ones.
check cacti's logs.
try an snmpwalk on the OIDs that have stopped to graph.

I've been using cacti since quite some time now.
The threshold plugin doesn't send DOWN mail for localhost only. However, it does send 'returned from down state' mail
The downed check is on SNMP and tcp port 80.
I do get all threshold alerts fine.
please help!

well, yes the reason is that I have too many mysqld sleeping processes that hang up my server...

Cacti stopped working
I added only 3 timeouts in my my.cnf file... since then, cacti has stopped plotting all graphs... and the log is filled with 'A DB exec failed...' the timeouts are: interactive:20 wait:10 connection:10 plz help, I need these timeouts for my server, but also want cacti to work under these timeouts......

Well, I'll follow it but I found a really irritating thing about cacti... I have several centOS 5.5 machines on which I have cacti. and I used yum install cacti for all of them. Exact same configuration. Each of them, has a different working directory... 1. /usr/share/cacti 2. /var/www/html/cacti 3....
