Problem solved...
there is a 64mb limitation in the poller_rebuild_index.php file which caused this trouble. Maybe it was just to easy to resolve such an issue :-/

Hi there, I'm running two machines with cacti 8.7e on ubuntu 10.04 with php 5.3.2. Everytime when i want to reindex my hosts via poller_reindex_hosts.php --id=All i get the following error after he's done with about the half of the hosts.
