importing daily data summaries into cacti
I have 2 problems. . . 1. I have production data collected every 10 minutes but I will only have access to the data 1x per day, when I can pull the files. Is there a way I can pull that into cacti on a daily interval and respect the 10 minute interval? (most important) 2. I have a year's worth of da...

Thank you
I had found that, but had trouble matching up a few things. I just went thru again, and now see it working. Thanks again.

I redid the whole thing several times. It has begun working. I don't see any difference in what was created the other times, except that I added one item at a time (to the script output, data and then graph template) and tested after each addition this last time. Thank you for the document with the ...

Re: Why does this data not graph?
About half the time, the rrd files doesn't update. How do you know this? Are you sure the script returned data on those pass(es) which are blank? Followed http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:4_help.2_debugging entirely? I know this because the modified time on the rrd files are not changing at each po...

MAXVALUE is one way
http://forums.cacti.net/about37469.html
I have the same issue. To work around it, I have the MAXVALUE hold the hdd_total, then the scaling of hdd_used works out to a proper percentage. I need to be able to 'get' the hdd_total in MAXVALUE, rather than hard code a static number.
Regards

Calulations inside MAXVALUE
Hello, I've been playing around with weathermaps, and I've come across something of which I cannot figure out the correct syntax. I'm trying to determine the percentage of disk space or memory used for a node. What I'd like to do is either scale the target by a calculation including a variable like ...
