Seems like a SNMP Timeout - Recheck Cacti log.
Try to raise SNMP Default Timeout in configuration/settings.

100% sure - Its just interface statistics - same port.

But the look the same - the difference is cacti has a spike at 20 und 22 about 50m.

Wrong Data in some Graphs - comparision with mrtg

I have Cacti 0.87e on a FreeBSD Machina 7.2. For a specific device I think the polled data is wrong. Template is SNMP - Interface Statistics. Parallel to Cacti I have MRTG running on the same machine. MRTG was installed before and should be replaced though Cacti. All graphs are identical between MRT...

Hi Gandalf,

I also have a question to this topic. The monthy graph is consolidated to 2hours. I want this consolidated to 1h.

I just do not know where to start. :-?
Or is there actually a good reason why it is 2h?

Thanks,

Mhm Sorry, my mistake.

Don't know if this helps, but you can try.

Goto Console/Configuration/Settings/Poller
->Spine Specific Execution Parameters
->The Maximum SNMP OID's Per SNMP Get Request

Set this one to 0 or 1.

When I click on the data source I can change the name of the Data Source - Tried right now (See Screenshot).

Do you mean the same mask?
What do you mean with "the name/title is readonly"?

Does this error occur only on this OID/Device or on different ones too? What polling mechanism do you use? Does your cacti log tell you a story (log level = debug) Try to snmpwalk the oid/device (snmpwalk -v [version] -c [vstring] [ip/hostname] [oid]) Is the host in the devices tab shown as Up? &quo...
