Either you mistyped the message, or someone made an error in your copy of rrdtool - the library is called libcairo. How did you install rrdtool? yes, in fact that was my mistake.... To install rrdtool I just used sudo aptitude install rrdtool Then it seems you need to raise a bug report with the Ub...

How did you install rrdtool?
yes, in fact that was my mistake....

To install rrdtool I just used
sudo aptitude install rrdtool

After moving to Ubuntu from Windows which gave me lots of problems I cannot get any graphs. Graph debug mod is returning this:

/usr/bin/rrdtool: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libcario.so.2: undefined symbol: FT_Library_SetLcdFilter
