Re: No SNMP data returned; but command line query OK
gandalf, I guess you got it right. I tried switching to SNMPv1 (in Cacti's device config) and the data query started returning all the interfaces. I created graphs for all the interfaces and they were working correctly, then I turned the device back to SNMPv2c and they still kept working. Not having...

Re: No SNMP data returned; but command line query OK
I am resurrecting this old thread because I would have wrote the exact same subject and I'm having the exact same problem - but no operator error here :) I am monitoring a D-Link DES-1228P switch on my Cacti-0.8.7i - just a single data source, Generic OID Template and oid = 1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.3.1.1.4...

Adding a pre-calculated 'daily average' line to graphs
I am trying to graph energy production data from a photovoltaic system with cacti, and I would like to add to my graphs the expected energy output. The latter comes as an average daily production from the PVGIS database . For example, given a PV system I have twelve data points that are the expected...

Getting totals out of energy production (KW) graph
I'm working on Cacti-0.8.7g + 2010-10-01 patches + Plugin Architecture v2.8, I read energy production data from a photovoltaic system with a simple script I made (reads and parses web page from the PV system) and I already have a working graph with that data. That gives me a nice graph with how much...

Creating new input methods and (data, graph, host) templates
We want to use Cacti to monitor some remote machinery. It's some 2+ years that I'm using cacti for the usual stuff (network interfaces, disk space, systems load, etc... via SNMP) but it's the first time I'm trying to build a whole new set of input method - templates - graphs - and so on, any help wo...

I managed to install this scripts in my Cacti system (v0.8.7e) and I'm trying to graph diskIO for a linux host running net-snmp-5.4.2.1. The SNMP part seems ok. I can get the snmptable for the diskIO MIB, and here's an example query, run from the cacti system, for one device (index 257) - I don't ge...
