I was forgetting to set the graph permissions for the user guest1. Then it is working fine now.

Howewer the problem about the default user guest is remaining.

I don't know if I will have time to try another web-browser. If I do it I surely let you know the result.

This is Cacti 0.8.7e installed on the last version of XAMPP; all this is installed on a Kubuntu 8.10 O.S..

For the installation procedure I followed step by step the procedure described in the "Ubuntu installation instructions" of the Cacti's manual.

How you suggested, I created I new user named guest1 without setting a password for it. Then I tried to enter Cacti with guest1 and nothing in the field for the password. I'll do it. But... taking a look to the error showed above, I can understand that the problem when I log in with the guest user is opening the index.php. Then I think the authentication was already done... Besides, after have tried to enter with the guest user, I have the same error also with the ad...

In the authentication tab I have configured the following settings:

Authentication method: Builtin Authentication
Guest User: guest
User template: guest

I did not change anything about the LDAP settings.

I have deleted all the cookies.

In php.ini there is the directive session.cookie_domain =
without the ''. Is it the same?

It's still not working, giving the same error!!

Howewer it is strange that it is a PHP's problem, because with the user admin all is working fine.

Yes... I have setted a password for the guest user... and...

The error that I obtain is attached in the message... is something like an infinite loop making the authentication.

I have enabled the geust user in the User Management tab, but when I try to enter Cacti with this user, I obtain an Error page. I cannot understund the problem. Some sugestions?

Hi guys,
I am using Cacti 0.8.7e on Kubuntu 8.10 and XAMPP.
I can correctly show graphs, but when I export them to a local folder the date is not showed anymore.
Does someone of you has any suggestions?

I made it making some duplicates of the data template used. So, I used these duplicates as "one data source for each oid". But maybe, the plugin is a more elegant way.

Hi guys.
I am graphing single oids with the "Generic snmp oid template" for both, data and graph, and all is ok!!
Now, I'd like to graph two of those oids in only one graph. How can I do it?

Ok... problem resolved!!
There was only one thing of those on that link that I did not make yet. It was the control of the maximum and minimum value.
Now it is all ok!!
