Autom8 Plug In Problem
Hi all, I'm fairly new to Cacti and I'm having problems with the Autom8 plug-in. I get the plug-in to load and I'm able to create graph rules which appear to be working correctly. However when I'm testing the Autom8 plugin by going to device, clicking on the check box, clicking on the apply button a...

Re: Windows Installer [v1.95 - 2010-09-23]
Wanted to let you know that I just started a new installation on a Windows 2003 X64 server. I too got the same exact message as indicated above in this thread. I checked the installer log and saw no indication of any errors. I just re-installed only the core Cacti application and it appears I get th...

Sorry, my mistake it is Windows 2008 and I loaded what I thought was the latest version at that time. I installed this server back around November 2009.

C:\USR directory
Yes, this directory exists but it appears to be mostly empty. Has the following directory structure.
\\USR\SNMP\Persist\snmpapp.conf.
That's it.
\\USR\SNMP\Persist\snmpapp.conf.
That's it.

Gandalf, I've not changed anything that I'm aware of and I used the Windows installer package that you created. I've confirmed that the MIBDIRS variable points to the c:\php\extras\mib folder and I've not changed anything there. The only file in the c:\php\extras\mib directory is an index file. I'm ...

[solved] SNMP Get Error message
Problem with SNMP Get command. I'm having issues with an SNMP get command working correctly. I get an error message which states Cannot find module <IB-MIB:At line 0 in <none> Cannot find module <IP-MIB>:At line 0 in <none> and many more. I've researched this error message and it appears to be somet...

Documentation
In my personal opinion and of course selfish reasons, I consider this one of the most important plug-ins available for Cacti. I really think we need some good documentation on how this works, what to expect and screen shots if possible. Is anyone working on this.

Development Code is located here
http://svn.cacti.net/viewvc/thold/branches/stable/?root=Plugins I've been fooling with it and I'm having some issues with it particulary related to creating and saving a template. It allows you to select script, or snmp write alerting, but can't save it. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

I also get the same thing when I was trying to upgrade to the development version of Thold. I just overwrote the files in the appropriate directory structure of Thold, then enable and disabled it via the plug-in management tool. I'm really interested in trying to send alerts either via an SNMP alert...

Monitor (Tree View not working correctly)
I'm running Monitor Version 0.9 on Cacti. In looking at the setup fuctionality it allows you to have 3 different type views when on the monitor tab. One selection is the Tree View look, however it does not appear to be working. I only get Two Views, the 1st Tree grouping and then the default Tree gr...

Problem when using Template - Processor usage is invalid.
Has anyone had a problem where you define a simple threshold for CPU utilization and it appears that the processor is pegged at 100% when in fact they are not. Let say I've defined a threshold template to alarm at 90% when a CPU reaches this value. If I select a device and say apply template to it, ...

No I did not but I do now! Thanks for the information. Then another question should I be concerned about the growth of the RRD files if I were to allow them to reside on say a 32 gig data partition. It appears from previous postings that the data stays relatively small even if I want to monitor say ...

Moving the MySql Database to D: drive
I used the all inclusive Windows Installer to get Cacti running on my Windows 2008 server. Works really well. Do you know how difficult it will be to physically relocate the location of the MySql database. I think I understand how to relocate it, but what will break in Cacti and how do i modify it. ...
