Possible VPN Rendering Issue
Strange, it looks fine here at the office. Since the graphs render from the top to the bottom, I now suspect it to be a VPN rendering issue. Just tested it over VPN/dial-up and only had one line. So it isn't a problem with the box. Possible issue with my computer. Co-worker doesn't see the issue at ...

Lines in my Graphs
CentOS 4.2 - 2.6.9-22.0.2.ELsmp
Version 0.8.6g
It was running fine, just upgraded several minor things on CentOS, but after the weekly reboot I started to see lines on the graphs.
Any ideas?

Thanks
I copied the interface graph template to create a new template (Interface - Traffic (bits/sec) - Custom Template). I modified this template to allow me to rename the graphs. I just changed the template used by the graphs I needed to change and renamed them. It didn't work this way on the older versi...

Side by Side
This is something I would like to do as well. I was about to start testing Nagios but of course things came up and i haven't had time to play with it. Is there any issues running them on the same server? Anyone know of a write-up that talk about installing them both? I would be interested in any inf...

Rename
I see, did this change in the newest version? I remember being able to have the automatic naming there, but still able to modify the name per graph. I have never changed the Graph Template itself, just the seperate graph title (in the image) one by one. See the pic below. I was most doing it for man...

Graph Title Rename
Hey Guys, need a little help. I have several hundreds interfaces that I am watching and I normally change the Graph title to a custom title, but I can't seem to find where to change it. It has been a stressful two days and I know this is super simple, just need a fresh pair of eyes. I was thinking I...

Cisco SubInterface Updating
I am working with a Cisco Router and we recently deleted a subinterface and added a new subinterface. I saw the "WARNING SNMP not valid" problem and traced it to the non-existing subinterface. I deleted that from the cacti servers and things are good. But when I went to add a graph for the...

All Patches
I installed all the official patches for Cacti 8.6.c. The server was running fine and I should have left it along but I just installed 144 FC3 patches and everything seem to work. I shouldn't have pushed my luck. I am running Cactid with 8 thread and 1 process. I see that other people are having the...

DB Error
I am running Cacti on a FC3 box and I just recently installed all the FC3 updates via yum. Everything seem to be working so then I download the patches for Cacti locally and copied them over to the Cacti server. I ran all the patches and now I can't connect to the webserver. Here is the error I get ...

Bandwidth Average
Yeah, I didn't think it was a bug, but you know PHBs. After looking closer, I see that during a Year graph, it will average each day into one set of numbers (max and average) and then those average daily maxs will be averaged into a average yearly max. =)
Geezz..lol Thanks for the help

Bandwidth Max Question
Hello everyone, My boss pointed this out to me and it does seem weird. I understand the Averages changed based on the time frame you are looking but why does the Max value change when looking at different time frame. Here is a answer. We have many stores that are 56k frame relay, I am watching the i...

LD problem
Might want to edit your LD_LIBRARY_PATH Path. Include the directory that has the libcrypto.so.0.9.7 file. I altered my in my .bash_profile for the cactiuser. I altered the normal setup a bit to get it to work in FC3. This is what I added to my FC3 profile. export PATH=$PATH:$HOME/bin export LD_LIBRA...

CactiD
Have you tried to install Cactid? I was polling 8 hosts with over 100 interfaces and it cut my time from 1 min to 2 secs (using 8 threads).
Might be worth a try.
