Re: Monitoring performance of an HP EVA SAN
Hey mikaelf, I also tried to get support form HP but all I got as answer was that getting performance via WMI isn't currently supportet by HP! and never will be supported, so they wont do anything for you ... In my case the gaps in the graphs are very small (i dont even see them when going into half...

Re: Monitoring performance of an HP EVA SAN
Symptom is that I have to restart the WMI service once every hour. Everytime I've restarted the WMI service, the wmic client stops getting data after an hour. Hey mikaelf, I think the problem of having to restart the service every hour is on quite every system running the eva monitoring. I createt ...

Re: transfer Cacti to another system
you need to : 1. export your mysql Database (e.g. with phpmyadmin) 2. COPY your cacti Folder (e.g. /usr/share/cacti/) to the new system 3. Install Mysql, Apache2 and everything else Cacti needs on the new sys 4. import the existing DB 5. check all rights, accounts @ mysql etc. 6. create a cronjob (e...

Re: Cacti Graph shows Timestamp instead of the data
The OID is the "Logical Drive Performance Monitor Entry" of an HP Proliant DL380G5. if this helps: Here's what the snmpwalk says: srvcacti:/var/log/cacti# snmpwalk -v 2c -c public ***.***.***.*** .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.8.1.1.7.2.1.1 SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.3.2.8.1.1.7.2.1.1 = INTEGER: 17...

Re: Cacti Graph shows Timestamp instead of the data
I know that 10M equals 10 millions but the data is wrong !
when I snmpwalk on the machine + OID it gets me something like 300 - 500
when I look into the Cacti logfile for the RRD there's the right data but with a timestamp in front.
(timestamp:512)

Re: Data Query Probleme - Bluearc Titan
OK now I know what's the Problem ... The Bluearc has some kind of double index (sorry never done this before) It says .1.3.6.1.4.1.11096.6.1.1.1.3.6.25.1. 7 (for fcStatsInstantIn) . 1 (for Clusternode 1) . 2 (for fc Card #2) But Cacti scans .1.3.6.1.4.1.11096.6.1.1.1.3.6.25.1.7.2 without having the ...
