Re: 1-minute polling in 1.1.38

Thank you for that info! I wasn't aware 1.2 had a preset 1 minute poller. Just for grins I've loaded that up and started graphing. Sure enough, I still see weird results on the graph. See attached. Notice the big spike that isn't accounted for in "Maximum". The weird thing is, if I zoom in...

1-minute polling in 1.1.38

I am hoping someone can tell me how to get 1-minute interface traffic graphs from a stock Cacti 1.1.38 install. I have followed a few guides, tried a few things, but something is still not right. I created a 1-minute Data Profile, changed the Data Source to use the new profile, modified the cron job...

Re: SNMP v3 aes troubles

Thanks for the reply. As it turns out, I am able to make this work correctly on a different instance of Cacti that I have running. I had to remove the "SNMP Context" entry that I made. Once I did that, everything is good. I need to go back now to my other Cacti instance to make sure the fi...

SNMP v3 aes troubles

I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to get Cacti to work with AES on linux. I'm able to do a command-line snmpget successfully using v3 but I can't get Cacti to work. I've seen posts about removing/disabling php-snmp but that doesn't seem to help me. I've tried with both spine and cmd.php. Any ...

Ok, will do.

And you're correct, all of the devices I'm looking to add are NOT already in Cacti, but thanks for pointing out that capability as I didn't realize it existed.

Import devices not working

I would like to be able to import my devices into MacTrack using a csv file as I have around 500 switches that I'd like to poll. My thought was to enter a few devices in via the web interface, then "Export" them from the Devices page, edit the file, and import the file back in. I've tried ...

Spacing issue

Has anyone else run into the spacing issue that I have. See the attached image. It looks an extra tab got inserted after the "Outbound" label. I have some older graphs that don't have this problem. It only appears to be affecting new graphs that I create. I'm on 0.8.7e, but I don't believe...

Snmpwalk returns value but cacti returns Partial Result: U

Can anyone shed some light on this problem? I have a specific oid that I can snmpwalk and get the value I'm looking for. When I use that same oid in a data template, I get "nan" in the graph and the following in my log file: 09/14/2009 10:28:02 AM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] Host[8] DS[116] SNMP: ...

Temperature conversion

I was wondering if anyone out there is using Thold to monitor temperature thresholds and ran into the same issue I have with alerts. I'm using High/Low values to check my graph which is graphing Fahrenheit values. When I turned on thold and set the thresholds, I immediately got an alert showing me t...
