Re: Graphing Ubuntu 12.04 OVH Kimsufi Server

Thanks for the reply gandalf. Here is the output: It looks like there is no stats for the interfaces. Would that mean i have to load a specific MIB? root@server:/home/churchi# snmpwalk -v2c -c community localhost iso.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0 = STRING: "Linux 3.2.13-grsec-xxxx-grs-ipv6-64 #1 SMP Thu Mar ...

Graphing Ubuntu 12.04 OVH Kimsufi Server

Hi All, After playing around on my Kimsufi server from OVH, i am not able to get the graphing of my eth0 interface going. I have run and setup cacti on other servers before (VPS's) and they have worked right out of the box, however this server is proving to be a pain when configuring interface bandw...

Re: venet

Could you possibly post how you were able to setup the venet0 interface for polling? I've been trying to do this using iptables counters, and it just doesnt seem to be working for me. I get erratic results and have no idea why. I would really love to know how do set this up as well. Anyone got some...

Re:

For what its worth, I found this guide here on how to do it: http://www.roth.lu/cacti-snmp-tut.htm Finally got it working, took a lot of tinkering though and I don't think it's very accurate. Hi SynVisions, I am trying to do the same setup as you and used the same URL, however i have not been succe...

Questions on stacking BW graphs

Hi all, well i have gotten a new graph together today that will aggregate the bandwidths for a few of our WAN links and plot them on the graph. i have tried to use Reinhard's aggregate plug-in, however i have over 1000 graphs and i just can't seem to get the search to work correctly, so hence i can'...

I suppose this will make it for a new howto: Use "SIMILAR_DATA_SOURCES_NODUPS" in a new custom CDEF. This one will automagically sum up all data sources. You may graph the result of such a CDEF over time, just as the basic data sources. It sould yield the same results as stacking the data...

Well, this is the second time this issue has been brought up and in the same month. The sum functions are very simple. They only do the currently (current) or all data sources (total) on the graph. You can not sum only the "traffic_in" or the "traffic_out". This feature does not...

hey guys, thank you for creating this graph, it should be useful in our BGP environments as well. i have been running this graph for a few hours now and all i seem to get is 0's on the graph. it looks like its trying to graph something (not getting NAN) so i think its polling just not graphing it pr...

Mind passing some info along as to how you did that? Interested in adding a total to mine + the upside down graphing would be great. How do I go about that? Been tinkering for a while trying to figure it out. Actually trying to figure out how to add a line item to total up in/out between two device...
