Windows Server 2008 Standard, 64bit.

Im using the normal snmptools.dll though.


Works on all other servers except the domain controller. UAC is off too.

Downloaded again, copied over, redid the .reg, edited the registry to enable debug. restarted snmp

The SNMP Service is ignoring extension agent dll C:\Windows\system32\snmptools.dll because it is missing or misconfigured.

The SNMP Service is ignoring extension agent dll C:\Windows\system32\snmptools.dll because it is missing or misconfigured.


File is present and I've re-copied another over.

File - Check
All Registry Entries - Check
counters.ini - Check

Made sure the SNMP Service is correctly set. and restarted

Checked write permission within c:\ - ok.

Same error. No debug.

No log.txt

C:\snmp\bin>snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 10.4.2.32 1.3.6.1.4.1.15
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.15 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

2.0.0.15 is the only available download on sourceforge. Also I have another. Ive installed this on my domain controller. I have the same problem as GregKing.


I do the same counter, its scaled in performance manager by 1000 just to get to 0.0xx value.

snmpwalk returns 0

Just a question

counter=LogicalDisk\Avg. Disk sec/Read\F:
[1.3.6.1.4.1.15.6.2]
counter=LogicalDisk\Avg. Disk sec/Write\F:
On the performance monitor its : Average 0.004 Max: 0.08 etc, so when polled it always comes up as 0... how could i graph it... is it worth it?
