The plugin doesnt appear to automatically update the status if the site goes down. Can it be setup to refresh the markers every 60 seconds so it will display a red marker for a site that has suddenly gone offline? It would also be useful if when it refreshed and a site was down, it displayed the bub...

Awesome work Spiffydudex! The zoom functionality and the site status really make this plugin now. Weather maps work if I have the US map visible, but nothing appears for Australia, so assume the service is US-only. Not a big deal but was interested in checking out what it looked like. Is there any w...

Have added the gps coords for all of my sites and it looks great. It will be even better if/when you add the online status for the sites. I have noticed though that if I click on any tab other than Console, the GPS Map tab disappears, and the only way I can bring it back is clicking on the Console t...

Looks great, been hoping for a plugin such as this! :D Had alot of trouble trying to get the routers to display on the map, in the end I logged out and logged back in, and they appeared! Any chance you could have an option to display all of the sites in green and then if a site is offline, the image...

Thanks for your detailed reply. Looking at the info you posted I have to install syslog-ng which replaces my existing syslogd, why do I need to do this? I'm still unsure why I need to install the syslog plugin, as far as I can tell it lets me view the syslog file within Cacti, but I don't want to do...

Configuring Cacti to log to Syslog
Hello, I'd like critical entries in the Cacti log file ie Host down, to be sent to the Syslog file on the same server. All my switches/routers are already doing this successfully. I am running Cacti 0.8.7d on an ubuntu 8.10 server with the Monitor, Clog, Thold and Settings plugins installed. I have ...

Thanks for the heads up, I fixed the problem following this post http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=31443
I normally do a search this stuff but moving to a unix server I wasnt sure if it was a unix problem (permissions etc), a cacti problem or a PA problem.
Thanks again.

How do I remove graph name?
I don't like the fact that the name/title for a graph shows up twice, once on the graph it's self and again underneath. How can I remove the name that appears underneath the graph without affecting the one that appears on the graph? Also can I get Cacti to default to displaying the thumbnailed versi...

Fixed! For some reason by default the date.timezone entry in php.ini is commented out using a ';'. So while I had added the timezone details php was ignoring this variable. Removed ';' and rebooted and now the timezone info is showing 'Australia/Perth' on the Technical Support page. I'm sure I didnt...

Timezone incorrect after reinstall of 0.8.7c
Hello, I had 0.8.7c working beautifully and yesterday I upgraded to 0.8.7d. To coincide with this upgrade I did a fresh install because I wanted to switch to IIS instead of Apache as we were looking at installing some MS software that uses IIS. Long story short I had permission issues, timezone issu...

How to make |query_ifAlias| not appear if null
Hello, some of the interfaces on my switches have labels describing the equipment attached to them and some don't. I use |query_ifAlias| to display these descriptions and it works great, but if a port doesnt have a description instead of just leaving that part of the graph title blank it actually di...
