Greetings; I've followed the instructions below: >>The fix is to edit each of the CDEFs (Graph Management/CDEFs) and replace >>the following values in each of the Custom Strings. >>replace bc with d >>replace g with c >>Once this is done, the graphs should start displaying again. And have exchanged ...

Unable to access haloe
I'm having some problems setting up haloe-0.4 under cacti0.8.6i. I've added the hooks to the cacti php files as outlined in haloe.txt. The database has been added. permissions set in db.php. When I click the syslog tab in the console I get a page can not be displayed. Any suggestions on what I have ...

I have some kind of firewall weirdness going on here and it is not cacti related. Gremlins are playing here somewhere messing with communications from my cacti machine. I do believe I need to rebuild my cacti machine though. Just general build problems. Question: To save my current configuration; al...

Changed password su password now cacti doesn't work
OK - I'm bad - I'm running mysql as root. It's the only way I can get it to work properly... I changed my su password yesterday and cacti stopped polling on some devices. So I switched it back but some devices in Cacti never recovered. I restarted the box and the same. But only some devices. Only us...

Cacti not creating new graphs without manual intervention
I'm seeing problems with cacti being able to create new graphs. Now the existing stuff all works quite well. ( cacti is cool when not using slowaris! ) If I add a new device or a new graph the poller doesn't seem to know what to do with it until I run poller manually: somehost> php poller.php PHP 5....

Graphing problem
I just found an odd one... If I look at the high level view of a device, daily information is correct. If I select a graph for more detail my graphs post but daily, weekly, monthly are the same data formated as weekly but Yearly is correct. This is on all graphs, all devices. I'm running Fedora 5, c...

Whats Up Pro / Cacti integration
Has anyone attempted to build a plug-in from WUP to cacti to pull graphs? I have played some with guest but the user can see 'too much'. Here's the scenario: I have user A: who needs to be able to see graphs for everything cacti is polling from WUP. This can be accomplished by groups. User b needs a...

Monitoring status of cisco interface ifOperStatus
Hi all I'm still attempting to figure out which way is up with cacti. I'd like to monitor interface status for up/down. This should be as simple as polling ifOperStatus for 1 and two. I can't figure out how to make the templates. Has anyone created these templates they could share or a walk thru a n...

Monitoring Thread within a service
This may have been asked before, I just couldn't find it... Is there anyway from cacti to monitor the number of threads that are running within a process? Lets say a mail program is running on a 2k3 server and you need to look at the number of threads in the process. Sorry if that was redundant redu...
