RRD files no longer being updated.

After running Cacti successfully for 3 weeks, the graphs no longer displayed any data after 03:20. After troubleshooting, it became apparent that while the poller process was running properly and returning data from the various OID's of the hosts I am querying, that the RRD files for each instance w...

I'm having difficulty with your latest version. When adding the associated data query to either a 7206 or 6506, the process just hangs. After a while the HTTP request times out and I can see that the query has been added to the device, but the query returned 0 rows. Running the ss_host_mac.php scrip...

Actually no, since the graph template is quite general and used across numerous hosts. However, management is unfamiliar with host and port assignments, so for situations like this it is easier to modify the actual graph title individually, which I can't seem to do anymore.

Editing titles of individual graphs.

Perhaps it's just one of those days, or maybe it's just been a while, but.. I'm unable to edit/change the name of a graph that's been created. For instance, add more information for management than the normal host/interface info. I've done this in the past, but upgraded to the latest stable version ...

Thanks very much for the info (my boss will be happy now). I tried rolling back the lib/poller.php and I had no success - lots of "Waiting on 1/1 pollers" type messages, with no apparent updating.

Thanks for you help :)

I'm experiencing a similar problem. I've used the new cmd.php and poller.php (replacing the poller.php file in lib/), and some graphs have been generated, but others have not. Number of hosts: 65 Number of scripts: 5 RRD files: 500 OS: FreeBSD 5.3 MySQL: 4.1.11 PHP: 4.3.10 Net-SNMP: 5.2.1 When I use...

Thanks for the info.. I don't need numbers actually assigned, per se. To be more specific, I've got some stats I want Cacti to graph, and those stats are generated by scripts I run on a server. Choosing OID's arbitrarily has proven to be a bad decision, because often data is returned that relates to...

How to choose OID's for custom SNMP queries?

Hi all, I've Google'd without much success, so I'll take a stab here. I want to know how to choose custom OID's for SNMP queries that will be returned by an application. Generally speaking, I've had some success, but I don't understand the best method to choose a range of OID's that will not conflic...

Upgraded to 0.8.6c and tree view graphs disappeared.

Hi all,

I just finished upgrading from 0.8.5a to 0.8.6c and our well maintained tree view of our graphs no longer shows up. It appears empty. All the graphs appear to be generating fine, as I can view it using list or preview modes..

Ideas?
