Setting the rrdtool to 1.2.x solved the issue, I had just recently changed it from 1.0.x.

I'm having this exact problem, except on freeBSD 6.2, ie If you open the Graphs via the Tree, they are all "dead" but if you click into one of the graphs, the graphs are plotted. I'm using cacti 0.8.7.b, rrd 1.3.0, I can only select rrdtool 1.2.x in the cacti configs, is this the source of...
