Re: Graph Mysteriously Returns After Being Deleted

I disabled the Traffic 64 bit Server under the Automation->Graph Rules. That did the trick. I'll have to read up on that feature and what it does and why one would use it. I started using Cacti back in 2008 and did so for many years. It's been a few years since I retired. I'm not a fan of some of th...

Re: Graph Mysteriously Returns After Being Deleted

Thanks @cigamit, I'm not familiar w/ Automations. So it's nothing I set up but must be some default(s). I'll have to take a look to see what automation would override.

Graph Mysteriously Returns After Being Deleted

Greetings, I've got an odd one, or at least I can't explain it. Can anybody tell me why/how a graph that I've deleted mysteriously gets re-created? I added a device (Mikrotik RTR) and created created the graphs. I noticed I have two graphs for the same interface, one w/ In/Out Bytes (64-bit) and one...

Re: External Weathermap Graph Links - Help Displaying Graphs

That's what I thought but didn't know if Cacti was employing some sort of hybrid. I may consider, in the end, generating my own graphs and display. I do a lot of systems and tool coding for our company using Ruby and RoR. Would be pretty straight forward as I have the RRD files maintained by Cacti. ...

Re: External Weathermap Graph Links - Help Displaying Graphs

I did not, I'm using Builtin Authentication (the default). If I change to Web Basic Authentication, would I not then have to manage my users via a .htpasswd file?

Thank you

External Weathermap Graph Links - Help Displaying Graphs

Hello, I have Weathermap running external to Cacti. Links all show correctly, flow, bandwidth, etc. However, when I hover over the graph no graph shows and when I click the link I'm presented with the Cacti login page. Clearly there's an authentication issue. I really don't want to run weathermap as...

Borked table(s) - Can these be rebuilt from table?

Hello, I was rudely awakened to an alert that my cacti server was down and found that I've got borked poller_items and poller_output tables in my cacti db from a kernel panic. I've got a backup, but not recent enough that it will do me any good. Is there a way to rebuild these these tables from the ...

Re: snmp error adding device

I'm hoping someone can shed some light. I can execute an snmpget, walk, etc from the command line as the cacti user. But from the webui I get the SNMP Error when saving device. Only the local host will graph. You help would much appreciated. Set the log level to DEBUG. Output snippet 01/14/2015 05:0...

snmp error adding device

Hello, I'm setting up a new Cacti server and running into a problem with snmp or cacti. When adding a device I get a snmp error. Localhost is working. I can query an host/device off network from the command line and get a response from the very same host that fails when adding it as a device. I've v...

Ok, I've reduced my poller procs to 4 and my threads to 10. That seems to have helped. Is there a guide that gives some basic formulas to determine the best, if not baseline, configuration of the poller, threads, php script servers, etc given x nimber of hosts/snmp oids, yada, yada? I have only a fr...

Gaps in Graphs

Greetings, I've got a problem with gaps in my graphs that I'm a bit stumped by. The problem affects all of my graphs, not limited to interface stats (In/Out vs In/Out 64 Bit) in relation to the OID. While this is a graph of a switches interface, these gaps appear on all my graphs. You'll notice grap...
