Re: Script for netscreen vpn interfaces with ifSpeed

md88dg, I tried importing the 3 xml files but I get "Error: XML: Hash version does not exist.". Is this specific to a version of Cacti? I'm using 0.8.7b.

Edit: Nevermind, hash shows your template created on newer version. Time for me to upgrade.

Template works for me with modifications (Windows Cacti v0.8.7b). 1. When you download the file be sure to modify the file name to match the template, i.e., "3com5500_mem.xml", not "3com5500_mem_120.xml 2. As has been mentioned before, put the second and third files under "<cacti...

Very interesting. I have Cacti 0.8.7b on Windows 2003 with 1 minute polling, monitoring traffic on 619 ports and showing total 20GB. This does not include other graphs, which would bring total to 36GB. I have been considering moving Cacti to a Linux box. Would Cacti/rrdtool store data more efficient...

I would like to make an attempt to explain scheduled task/cron and polling: (Scheduled task=5 min, polling=5 min) (Scheduled task executes the poller) Time 11:00 Scheduled task runs, poller polls, then scheduled task ends 11:05 Scheduled task runs, poller polls, then scheduled task ends 11:10 Schedu...
