Re: SNMP not connecting
Well, I have absolutely no idea how it happened, but somehow overnight last night, the SNMP connections started working. It seems sort of suspicious, but all of my devices are shown as up now and are collecting data.

SNMP not connecting
I have run into some issues with my Cacti installation. I'm not sure exactly when it happened, and I don't see anything that has changed, but for some reason I cannot get SNMP to poll my servers properly, and Cacti reports them all as being down. Some background information: Cacti version 0.8.7b (al...

I would, but I honestly don't know myself. (If you can't tell by that statement, I am a relatively new Linux user) I was simply poking around in some config files and looking at some of the network settings and such, and all the sudden it was working. I think that it may have had to do with somethin...

Recognize Connection

I have used snmpwalk to verify that I have a connection between the server and the computer that I wish to monitor. However, Cacti will not show the rem...

SNMP Issues
I am currently running several SuSE servers and workstations. The ones that are involved here both run openSuSE 10.3 I have installed Cacti on one of the servers, and am now trying to get it to monitor my desktop (just to get a feel for it). I have installed the net-snmp through the Yast installer a...
