Re: Progress !!
Edit: clarified role of the poller (my previous sentence was wrong). Edit: clarified per-minute (calculations were wrong); added per-hour. Made a graph and did a test call to the dialup shelf to see if graphing works and sure enough it did but it did not give me a "1" like I expected to re...

Re: Please help ! Need to graph custom SNMP OID
What am I doing wrong?? I'm not familiar with the OID in question, but I'll try a shot in the dark here, since I believe I see a generic mistake. then it changes from NAN > "0". (Current/Maximum/Average are all 0). Assuming the number of modems has never changed between polls, that's corr...

See if Missing tree in Tree Mode helps. On second thought... :-) The file Cacti.wrong_fichiers\ftiens4.js in your attachment seems OK (I should have checked that out before posting), so cache corruption is unlikely the cause. OTOH, IE6 being involved, I'd try anyway. OTGH, tree graphic files...

See if Missing tree in Tree Mode helps.
In particular, try IE6 running on another computer (one that's never browsed Cacti, if possible).

Re: Disparity Between Graph Caption and Data
alleged to average "315.5 m" in the caption. To what does the "m" refer - million? No, milli- (that is, one thousandth). 315.5m = 0.3155. A capital M would be the symbol for mega- (million). Inbound packets look flat in the graph Look better: it's not really really flat. :-) It ...

That's not mega-, it's milli-.troycoulombe wrote:in what appears to be "megs"

Eight hundred "millipercent", or something like that.
In other words, 0.8%, that is, slightly less than one percent.
Mega-'s symbol is actually M, capital.
HTH.

Are the graphs for different servers the *exact* same? In that case, please find a likely solution in graphing a linux remote host . Forum admins... at this point, I humbly suggest some sort of FAQ or sticky treatment is in order... :) (er... assuming it's not been done already... I can't fin...

I'm no MySQL expert, but... shouldn't the command above be "mysql" instead of "mysqldump"?tamias wrote:That's what I do to restore:Code: Select all

I've been doing a *very* brief research: since the M1000e belongs to the PowerEdge line and apparently supports OpenManage, I *believe* the following applies to your case. YMMV. :-) Has anyone come up with a template for the Dell M1000e blade chassis? I've emailed Dell support asking for a mib file,...

Re: max memory incorrect
I believe you're mistakenly polling the wrong machine.pallomo wrote:"Graph Template: Linux - Memory Usage"
My guess is, the 8 GB machine is not the one running Cacti, and the one running Cacti has 4 GB.
If I'm right, read graphing a linux remote host

Moreover, some computer/printer combinations seem to throw everything out of whack, and every time you poll for printer-specific data you get an SNMP error A few days ago I've found out cause and cure for the SNMP genError. 8) Short story: uninstall the printer from the print-server PC throwing the...

It's just frustrating me that I still can't get this thing working properly. I know how you feel. Just remember: most of these bugs and misconfigurations are *so* stupid that they beat people of our average intelligence because we tend to think too high-level. :-) Try to think dumber. Still, I trie...
