Help with Understanding Thold's Measurements..
I am unclear on how thold comes up with it's measurements. On my Netscreen's interface going to my upstream ISP router, i want to monitor the amount of traffic-out. And if it were to exceed a threshold of 1.0Mb/s, alert me. However, i'm not sure which number to key in ? Graph. http://i106.photobucke...

found where my problem was with SPINE. the pw in the spine.conf was not matching. i enabled all my plugins and used spine and it seems to be working. however, the new manage plugin doesn't seem to work but i will open a separate thread for all my plugin related issues. my graphs appear to be working...

Monitor a 3com switch and/or Netscreen Juniper SSG5 VPN/firewall to see which port is consuming the most bandwidth using which protocol(s) to what dest and from what src IP/port/mac ?

1) verify cacti is getting data from the device (debugging logging) Not sure how to get that done ? verify the rrd files are getting updated (Rrdtool fetch) is there a syntax i could use to get some results ?
