Memcached is correct
Hi all, According to the defintion, http://code.sixapart.com/svn/memcached/trunk/server/doc/protocol.txt bytes_read > Total number of bytes read by this server from network bytes_written > Total number of bytes sent by this server to network If it is the case, we achieve our purpose. The memcached i...

Abnormal memcached graph result
Hi all, I had imported the memcached template, everything seemed fine. All the graphs could show successfully. However, I found an unexpected behaviour. Please refer to the attached photo. My question is: if the memcahced get is larger than set, why memcached write is greater than read? the ratio is...

Hi all, As you can see the pictures below, I imported two templates to cacti. One was 2 way CPU graph, another one was 8 way CPU graph. 8 way CPU graph represents the actual usage of the CPU. You can see the blue graph was not continuous, some users data were lost. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: Discontinuous Linux CPU usage graph
Hi gandalf, First of all, thank you for your reply. But, I do not agree with you that the CPU graph was discontinuous because of the CPU value reaching to the maximum value (100%). Let me explain the situation to you. It is a Redhat server with 8 CPUs. The info details are as follows: http://i19.pho...

As you can see in the graph below, the blue (representing user) suddenly dropped at 5pm and rose sharply at 7pm. It was quite strange, as it was the peak of user usage during that time. Hence, I was wondering...

Refer to your questions, thanks
Hi, When I went to "View Cacti Log File", I saw http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b170/victormilk2002/log.jpg As I have several servers that need to be monitored, I pick the one that uses red line to highlight. Then I saw http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b170/victormilk2002/debug.jpg How ...

Empty graphs are shown in cacti
Hi all, I have encountered a problem that I cannot solve. I have configured the cacti and all snmp settings. As you can see in the photo below, all computers are up. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b170/victormilk2002/all_up.jpg However, not all graphs can be displayed properly. Only basic/default...
