Actually, this turned out to be fairly easy. The graph template improperly defines the display for load average. (The idiot who thinks it should be tracked as stacked averages obviously has never managed a *nix box! Otherwise s/he would know it's far more important to see how they change over time.)...

Please move this back to the General help request. I don't think this is a Linux specific issue. If I did, I would have posted there instead. Check out the graphs here: http://llama.iphouse.net/cacti/graph_view.php?action=tree&tree_id=1&leaf_id=7&select_first=true Username, password both...

ucd CPU usage failed after upgrade

Gentoo Linux box. Did a standard Gentoo upgrade and I've got a lot of missing graphs. At the moment, I'm trying to get one of the standard ones working again. Output from the top of the Tech Support page: Date Mon, 10 Mar 2008 17:29:28 -0500 Cacti Version 0.8.7b Cacti OS unix SNMP Version net-snmp R...

Sure, no problem: jim@llama ~ $ snmpwalk -c public -v 1 localhost -On .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2 .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.768 = INTEGER: 6 .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.769 = INTEGER: 1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.770 = INTEGER: 3 .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.771 = INTEGER: 1 jim@llama ~ $ BTW, this is an Gentoo Linux...

Struggling to get CPU loads sampled

Let me preface this by saying that I'm NOT interested in tracking nice/user/system load right now, so please don't refer me to the various threads that talk about that. I've looked through them and I've even gotten one graph up that works OK until my system comes under a very heavy load. Also, I'm n...

I'm using Hangy's zip file instead of the file linked in the first post. The first graph that I want to do is a player count for TF2 with a maximum. Here's the output from the Graph Debug: RRDTool Command: /usr/bin/rrdtool graph - \ --imgformat=PNG \ --start=-86400 \ --end=-300 \ --title="Llama...

[SOLVED] rrdtool not creating new .rrd files

The system is a current Gentoo Linux box. I'm using Apache 2 for my Webserver. Permissions on the rra and log subirectories are correct, as several graphs are updating correctly. I'm seeing this issue for a several different graphs that I've experimented with. These are standard Cacti templates. A t...
