Re: Cacti - 1.2.19 - Not able to create graph - whitelist validation failed, check data input methods
... First, I've tried to add an explicit new Data Input Methods so the validation script will see it: bash <path_cacti>/scripts/query_jolokia.sh. But as it turns out, I could not create this entry! The 'create button' becomes grey after clicking, but nothing else is happening (no debug log either)....

Re: Cacti - 1.2.19 - Not able to create graph - whitelist validation failed, check data input methods
A bit more findings: - I've rolled back my data (before re-importing the template); - I can not create a graph (whitelist validation error); - Manually updated the DB data_input_fields to replace Authenticaion by Authentication; - Import the template (only 'unchanged' items in the logs now); - I can...

Re: Cacti - 1.2.19 - Not able to create graph - whitelist validation failed, check data input methods
Got it working again! But I'm not too sure how to explain why it was fixed... I've noticed 8 scripts validated in the whitelist (likely provided by default): { "274f4685461170b9eb1b98d22567ab5e": "<path_cacti>/scripts/diskfree.sh <partition>" "95ed0993eb3095f9920d431ac80f423...

Re: Cacti - 1.2.19 - Not able to create graph - whitelist validation failed, check data input methods
The missing line in the config.php is on me, not on the package maintainer. In short, we are using Puppet to install and configure all the software (based on packages like the one from EPEL). So, from time to time, it happens we are missing some new feature in the config. It's no biggy: I'll have a ...

Re: Cacti - 1.2.19 - Not able to create graph - whitelist validation failed, check data input methods
@TheWitness: thank you for your answer. Much appreciated. We tend to automate the installation of everything whenever possible, so I might have missed this screen you're referring to. I was not aware of this whitelist at all indeed! Is this feature enabled or disabled by default (can not find any se...

Re: Cacti - 1.2.19 - Not able to create graph - whitelist validation failed, check data input methods
Hi there, I've bumped into this a while ago, and did wait for a later release... However, now running v1.2.21 (on centos7), the problem persists: I can not create ANY graph relying on Data Query (simple templates work just fine). For instance, Data Query [SNMP - Interface Statistics] fails, but Unix...

Re: Little issue when using ldap specific dn and group requi
Thanks a lot for your answer, Have you tried 0.8.8d? there were 2 LDAP issues fixed http://www.cacti.net/changelog.php I've not tried 0.8.8d (cause not packaged in EPEL...). But I know for sure the patch still make sense against the current 0.8.8 branch (since I've checked out from SVN). If the prob...

Little issue when using ldap specific dn and group require
Hello there, I'm a very, very happy Cacti user since a while now. But I've recently found a little inconvenience (bug or feature?) using LDAP auth with a specific dn (ldap_mode=2). It turns out cacti bind first with the ldap_specific_dn/password to authenticate the user (as expected), but when ldap_...

Cisco ACE Load Balancer
Because Cisco ACE and CSM modules are using differents OID (even if they are based on the same MIB!), I start to study Cisco SLB from an previous topic ( http://forums.cacti.net/about12448.html ), and here is a first working host template with related script and ressource. Only serverfarm objects an...
