Cacti

I can't find this anywhere, but we have a Barracuda Web Filter - NOT a Spam firewall. Will this work with the Web filter? I want to monitor bandwidth passing through the web filter and cannot find what the SNMP OID is for this data. AFAIK, statistics for CPU/memory/interfaces should all be standard...

done, no errors relating to this (the host or the check or rrd, or the poller..) whatsoever.. either when log level running as high or debug..

I've created new several new graph templates and data templates to go with them, based on the nt_perfmon stuff (small perl wrapper around the nagios plugins check_nt exe). The log shows that the data sources are returning data as expected: Log File [Total Lines: 8 - All Items Shown] 10/28/2010 09:35...

The templates here work fine on 3.5, but the SNMP configuration on ESX 3.5 is a little different..

I've managed to fix the data templates so they should import cleanly - lot of info was missing in the xml..
Having a bit more trouble with the graph template, but will post here if I manage to fix.

FYI pretty much all of these templates work out of the box on cacti 0.8.7b with squid 2.5STABLE14 and SNMP proxying

The APC PDU SNMP templates found elsewhere on this forum work flawlessly with our AP7920's..

Has anyone got round to updating this for ESX 3.5 yet?
It does work for the base ESX server but monitoring for each of the VM's doesn't work - looks like the mib's have changed.

Might get round to doing it myself if no-one else already has..

Just to try and save anyone else banging their head against this; i found that in order to get summit48's to work I had to use "Build 1" under the System Description Match..

On an unrelated note, has anyone managed to get traffic graphing by vlan working on the summit48's or 1's?

The problem with missing tab image is not to do with 0.8.7 - its to do with the filename - plugins/ipsubnet/images/tab_ipsubnet.GIF needs to be renamed to plugins/ipsubnet/images/tab_ipsubnet.gif
